On Saturday we spent time in Pays Basque (Basque Country). The Basque region is considered the southwest and northwest areas of France and Spain. We drove through a lot of the French Basque country (although we entered Spain twice).Here are some pictures. As you can see, there is a distinctive architecture in the region. More importantly, it is just stinking beautiful and serene.
